Crimson Desert: New Armor And Headgear Locations

Crimson Desert’s latest patch added a new armor set, five new headgear pieces, and a few extra Greymane items. Most of the new gear can be bought from vendors, but some pieces require vendor trust before they appear in the shop.

Here is where to find every new armor and helmet added in the patch.

Greymane Light Armor Location

The new Greymane Light Armor is bought from Carl at your camp.

Talk to Carl, open the buy menu, and you should be able to purchase the armor using Greymane Contribution. The armor itself is relatively cheap compared to some of the other new items added in the patch.

Carl also sells a few other Greymane items, including:

• Honorary Greymane Cloth Gloves for Damiane
• Greymane Signet

The Greymane Signet is much more expensive, so you may not have enough contribution if you have already spent it on other items.

At maximum refinement, the Greymane Line Armor has better defense than cloth armor, but it is not stronger than the Greywolf Leather Armor.

The main reason to get this armor is the look. It has a lighter fantasy armor style and gives off a ranger-like appearance. If you want something closer to an Aragorn-style outfit, this is one of the better-looking options from the update.

Silent Conqueror Plate Helm Location

The Silent Conqueror Plate Helm is sold at the Varnia equipment store in the north.

Go to the Varnia equipment vendor and check the buy menu. If the helmet does not appear, you may need to increase the vendor’s trust first.

The Silent Conqueror Plate Helm has 18 max defense at full refinement.

This helmet has a faceplate that can be lifted, allowing you to show Kliff’s face while still wearing the helmet.

The downside is that this helmet cannot be worn with a hood.

Steel Maw Plate Helm Location

The Steel Maw Plate Helm is sold at the Calphade equipment store in North Hernand.

Travel to the Calphade equipment vendor, speak to the shopkeeper, and check the buy menu.

The Steel Maw Plate Helm has 17 max defense at full refinement.

This helmet has a more open face design, with metal strips running down the front so part of Kliff’s face is still visible. Like the Silent Conqueror helm, the faceplate can also be lifted.

This helmet also cannot be worn with a hood.

Stronghelm Forge Helmet Locations

The final three helmets all come from Stronghelm Forge, near East Demeniss.

You will not be able to freely access this area until you have progressed far enough in the story to reach Demeniss.

At Stronghelm Forge, you need 100 trust with the vendor before all three helmets become available.

The three helmets sold here are:

• Feral Sentinel Helm
• Sentinel of Tenacity Helm
• Sentinel of Trust Helm

To increase trust with these troll vendors, give them hides as gifts. Any type of hide should work for raising their trust.

Feral Sentinel Helm

The Feral Sentinel Helm is one of the three helmets sold at Stronghelm Forge after reaching 100 trust.

At full refinement, it has 18 max defense.

This helmet has a sharp, pointed visor design and a strong knight-style look. The visor can also be lifted.

Like the other new helmets, it cannot be worn with a hood.

Sentinel Of Tenacity Helm

The Sentinel of Tenacity Helm is also sold at Stronghelm Forge after reaching 100 trust.

This is the strongest new helmet in the patch in terms of defense, reaching 21 max defense at full refinement.

It has a polished silver look with narrow eye slits and extra face protection across the front. It also has a small mohawk-style ridge on top, giving it a more aggressive appearance.

If you only care about defense, this is the best helmet from the new update.

Sentinel Of Trust Helm

The Sentinel of Trust Helm is the final helmet sold at Stronghelm Forge.

At full refinement, it has 17 max defense.

It has lower defense than the Sentinel of Tenacity, but visually it is one of the best-looking helmets in the patch. It has a silver visor with gold trim around Kliff’s face, and the visor can also be lifted.

Like the other new helmets, it cannot be worn with a hood.
