GTA 6 on Steam and Windows
The published November 19 launch information applies to consoles. Rockstar has not provided a PC release date or a Windows PC hardware specification for GTA 6 in its official launch materials.
For a computer-based setup, the practical distinction is that the announced November launch does not include a native Windows edition. Buying a console edition does not mean it can be installed as a Windows game.
Which consoles can play GTA 6?
PlayStation 5 owners can purchase GTA 6 through the PlayStation Store. Rockstar also lists Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, with editions available through the Xbox storefront.
The game does not have a PlayStation 4 or Xbox One edition in the launch lineup. If you are choosing where to play, compare the consoles Rockstar names in its platform information.
