A boss built around drinking
4Gamer reports a boss who lies down, drinks from a jar and becomes difficult to guard-break while drinking. Afterward his swords can fly around the arena. That makes the fight about identifying a specific interruption opportunity instead of merely watching for an opening after a standard combo.
Counter demonstrated in the press build
The 4Gamer group interview discusses how an axe can break the guard of the drinking boss. This is evidence of an intended weapon matchup, not a guarantee that the axe is the only viable answer. S-GAME explicitly says many weaknesses make fights easier rather than being absolute requirements.
A sensible pre-release recommendation is to experiment with a heavy guard-breaking weapon during the drinking animation. Exact controls, safest positioning and all alternate counters will be documented after launch.
Reward: The Fanatic’s Broken Blade
4Gamer’s direct play report says defeating Hua Qianxiao grants The Fanatic’s Broken Blade. Drinking while using that weapon replenishes Sha-Chi and changes Soul’s moves into ranged flying-sword attacks. A deeper intoxicated state adds stronger projectiles and automatic evasion, but restricts movement and disables guarding.
This is the weapon previously described more loosely as the Drunken Sword style in our database. We are recording the proper name on the existing page rather than publishing two duplicate entries for the same fighting style.
Unverified retail details
The exact arena, quest prerequisites, final unlock popup and optional rewards will be checked in the release build. No attack damage or exact item coordinates are published here without evidence.
