How weapon reforging works

S-GAME’s official State of Play write-up confirms that players can reforge a weapon and recover materials already invested in upgrades. That is the important verified system-level fact: trying a new weapon does not automatically waste all the resources spent on the previous one.

What is the Reforging Talisman?

Community analysis of preview equipment menus identifies an item called Reforging Talisman in connection with the reset interface. We are listing that name as a preview item, not as a confirmed consumable cost or a guarantee of how many resets can be performed.

Some preview interpretations show interface counters, but their meaning is uncertain. We will not publish a false claim that players need a particular number of talismans for each reset.

Why it is useful

One boss reward may be a better counter to the next encounter than the weapon you have already upgraded. Rather than grinding repeatedly for a new set of resources, the confirmed refund system allows investment to be moved. The director has explicitly encouraged trying different weapon-and-accessory combinations against bosses.

What we will verify at launch

The complete menu route, whether the talisman is consumed, availability, cost and any exceptions to full refunds still need hands-on verification.
