What Is the Double Tap Trophy?

Double Tap is a new trophy in Black Flag resynced that was not in the original version of the game.

To unlock it, you need to parry two ocelot attacks in rapid succession.

The good news is that this does not need to be two different ocelots. One ocelot is enough, as long as you parry two separate attacks quickly enough.

Where to Find Ocelots

A great place to unlock Double Tap is Abaco Island at coordinates 582, 808.

This is a story-related area tied to the objective to hunt and skin ocelots, so most players will already visit it during normal progression.

That makes it one of the easiest places to go for this trophy.

How to Unlock Double Tap

Once you find an ocelot, let it attack instead of killing it immediately.

When the ocelot lunges, press L1 to parry. The timing has to be fairly clean, so it may take a few attempts before you get comfortable with the rhythm.

After the first successful parry, stay ready for the next attack and parry again quickly. If you do two successful parries in rapid succession, the trophy will unlock.

What If You Miss It?

If you do not unlock the trophy the first time you visit Abaco Island, you can return later and try again.

There may be fewer ocelots around, but you only need one to keep attacking long enough for two quick parries.
