Modern Warfare 4 Scavenger: Repair Everything at Base Camp
Learn the four Stranded Base Camp weapon repair costs, where to get Supplies, and how to unlock the Scavenger trophy in MW4.
The Scavenger achievement asks you to repair everything at Base Camp during Stranded (Mission 10). You need to gather Supplies across the open area, then spend them on the damaged weapons found at the workbenches inside your underground safehouse.
Four repair prompts are documented in the launch version, and completing all four costs 80 Supplies in total.
1. All Four Base Camp Repairs and Costs
| Repair prompt | Cost | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Pistol Underbarrel Shotgun | 5 Supplies | Repaired attachment/weapon |
| Silenced Thermal Sniper | 20 Supplies | Astaroth .57 sniper rifle |
| Silenced Assault Rifle | 25 Supplies | Han 86 assault rifle |
| Scoped Light Machine Gun | 30 Supplies | Repaired scoped LMG |
| Total | 80 Supplies | All four workbench repairs |
Three repairable items are grouped at one workbench. The Scoped LMG is on another bench, so do not leave Base Camp after fixing only the first three.

2. How to Repair a Weapon at Base Camp
At Base Camp, approach a damaged gun on a workbench and inspect the Repair prompt. The cost is shown in Supplies, with your current balance displayed by the wrench symbol on the HUD.
- Collect enough Supplies to cover the repair cost.
- Return to Base Camp and inspect the damaged weapon.
- Press the interaction key (E on PC in the documented layout).
- Confirm that the repair completed and, where applicable, the gun appears on the weapon wall.
- Repeat for the remaining damaged equipment, including the weapon on the second bench.
Repairs deduct Supplies immediately. The weapon wall message confirms that your repair has been registered.
3. How to Collect Supplies in Stranded
When you first get the choice between going directly to the mission and exploring, choose to find your own path. This lets you visit outposts, containers and nearby buildings to gather supplies before returning to the bench.
Useful places to search include:
- Enemy outpost buildings: Inspect desks, cupboards and shelves.
- Small outpost near a sofa: A cabinet contains a pickup.
- Damaged hangar near the Jamming Station: Check the upper shelving.
- Locked shipping containers and Yellow Supply Caches: Several contain Supplies alongside weapons and equipment.
Look for the on-screen SUPPLIES / TAKE prompt. You can revisit Base Camp after objectives instead of trying to gather the entire amount in one trip.
4. Which Repairs Should You Buy First?
For an efficient playthrough, repair the Pistol Underbarrel Shotgun (5) as soon as you have enough. Then consider the Silenced Thermal Sniper (20): the Astaroth .57 combines thermal optics with a silencer and is particularly useful against armored targets.
The Silenced AR (25) gives you the Han 86, and the Scoped LMG (30) completes the four-repair checklist. If your only concern is the Scavenger trophy, the purchase order does not matter; the goal is to finish every repair.
5. Free Base Camp Equipment Worth Taking
Not everything on the Base Camp tables is a paid repair. Check for the Parachute, later Backpack Upgrade, 2-Plate Armor Vest, and Night Vision Goggles as you advance Stranded. These items are useful for objectives, but their free pickup prompts are separate from the four weapon repairs listed above.
6. Scavenger Trophy Not Unlocking?
If the trophy does not appear, go back through the safehouse and inspect both workbenches. The most easily overlooked item is the separate Scoped LMG. Make sure all four prompts have changed from repairable to completed and that you have not confused a free equipment pickup with a paid repair.
